DESIGN BUILD

This Design Build project consisted of a full renovation of the existing cafeteria and kitchen.  City Contracting Services expanded the cafeteria by demolishing an adjacent classroom to create a new Pre-K / Kindergarten area within the cafeteria. Updates included new HVAC, Lighting, Flooring, Doors and Hardware, ACT Ceilings including Cloud Systems and Painting throughout.

The completely renovated kitchen was expanded to include new serving lines, Stainless Steel Rolling Overhead Doors, New Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, all new Stainless Steel Kitchen Equipment including built in Freezers and Coolers.

Since completion this DPS school cafeteria and kitchen has become a focal point for the school and community.  Breakfast, lunch, and after school snacks are provided as part of a new school program for DPS students. The kitchen is also open during holiday breaks to ensure students maintain a consistent and healthy diet regardless if school is in session.
